The festival is now calling for feature-length projects in development and pre-production from across the continent. We are inviting African filmmakers with feature-length projects in Development or Pre-Production to apply for our 2026 Industry Program.

What we are looking for
To ensure your project is eligible for consideration, please review the following criteria
- Feature films (Fiction or Creative Doc) with a strong African narrative.
- Projects with at least 20% of their budget already secured.
- Filmmakers seeking international collaboration, sales, or distributors.
Selected projects will receive:
- A dedicated slot in the NBO Pitching Sessions.
- 1-on-1 meetings with international buyers and festival scouts.
- Eligibility for the NBO Development Grant (KES 250,000).
